Registries and real-world evidence

Registries follow patients through years of real-world care and anchor the consortium's research beyond interventional trials. The PCCTC operates the IRONMAN and PROMISE registries and is extending the model to colorectal, breast, and lung cancer.

IRONMAN: International Registry for Men With Advanced Prostate Cancer

An international registry for men with advanced prostate cancer. Five PCCTC-run substudies have been built on its platform, reusing its sites, contracts, and data pipelines.

PROMISE Registry: A Prostate Cancer Registry of Outcomes and Germline Mutations for Improved Survival and Treatment Effectiveness

A PCCTC-managed registry linking germline genetics to outcomes and treatment effectiveness for patients with prostate cancer.

The Reversing Early Recurrence (RER) Registry: A Patient Registry to Characterize Molecular Residual Disease (MRD) and to Facilitate Clinical Trial Patient Identification

A PCCTC-managed registry program extending the IRONMAN and PROMISE model to colorectal, breast, and lung cancer on the same coordinated infrastructure.

The model

From registry to research platform

A PCCTC registry doubles as a real-world evidence research platform. These platforms enable both prospective sub-studies and retrospective data analyses, leveraging existing sites, contracts and data pipelines to answer new questions without standing up new study infrastructure.

The same teams that run the PCCTC's interventional trials operate every registry program, ensuring our real-world datasets are as robust as those collected for prospective clinical trials.
